OUR FRIEND

 Jeff Kace died on August 15, 2006 at the age of 23, when a virus attacked his heart. In his short life, Jeff touched  many people with his unique personality and caring nature. To Jeff, the ability to make people happy came  naturally and his next laugh, joke or smile was never far off. It was this love of friends, family and fun that made  Jeff such a special part of our lives.  But to him, it was “No Big Deal.”

OUR GOALS

The goal of The Jeffrey Thomas Kace NBD Foundation is to raise funds for causes that are dearest to the Kace family and Jeff's friends. Currently, the Foundation is dedicated to accomplishing the following three goals:

1.)  A portion of funds raised have been and will continue to be distributed to a hospital that specializes in cardiovascular research. Current recipient hospitals include the Henry Low Heart Center at Hartford Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

2.)  A second portion of the Foundation's proceeds will go towards the scholarship that we have established in Jeff's name that will be awarded to the male and female Minnechaug Regional High School seniors who best represent the characteristics that made Jeff so special.  The Jeffrey Thomas Kace Memorial Scholarships are awarded during the spring awards banquet.

3.)  Lastly, the remainder of the proceeds will be allocated to other charitable entities that benefit local people and/or causes.
